YOU READ IT here first, as the old hacks used to say. Three issues back, I predicted that if a British driver were to win the Le Mans 24 Hours, the general British media would ignore it because nobody would have been sent to cover it seriously.
As part of the victorious Porsche team, Nick Tandy (above) did win one of the best Le Mans races ever seen and his outstanding performance, especially early in the night, was an important factor in Porsche’s achievement.
