A BRAND NEW event for the Linas-Montlhéry motor circuit just outside Laris, Les Grandes Heures Automobiles sees the most iconic vehicles from the history of the revered venue take to the track.
It’s billed not as a competitive meet, but as a lavish celebration with a festive atmosphere to herald the return of former car and motorcycle stars who would have appeared at this temple of speed in the decades after its 1924 opening.They’ll be joined in their demonstration laps by their most significant heirs, including Group B cars. Vehicles are divided into groups according to their age and engine size, and over the weekend a succession of historic line-ups will take to the track, competing in ‘races’ lasting 15 minutes each.
