London to Brighton Run returns to Crawley High Street

Spectators appeased with new route that returns the veteran cars to town centre

THE LONDON TO BRIGHTON Veteran Car Run has a new route that will revisit its traditional and popular stop in Crawley High Street, where spectators will once again be able to view the participating cars close-up. Last year the route changed, to include a new covered area for running repairs at the Honda Gatwick dealership. Lhis mean that the Crawley High Street stop was bypassed, to the disappointment of regular spectators, who turn out in their thousands to watch. For the 2015 run, which takes place on Sunday 1 November and starts from Hyde Park, the stop at Honda Gatwick will be retained to provide much-needed warmth, shelter and refreshments for partipants, but the run will then continue on through Crawley for a stop in the High Street.
