Heartstrings Violins of Hope shines a light on one of history’s darkest chapters. The collection of instruments consists of more than 80 donated violins, violas, and cellos played by Jews in concentration camps and elsewhere during the Holocaust (all restored by a father and son in Tel Aviv). They’re featured in concerts, exhibitions, and educational programming in honor of the musicians and culture that perished.
