QUINN TODAY You will understand that as a man who’s been to the Commonwealth Games 10 times I can reach back and recall a load of wonderful memories of scores, results, gold medals and near misses. I have loved every minute of my time at them all, and while the ‘Commy Games’ might have taken time to find their feet they most certainly have become a great sports event, certainly in the last 20 years or so. Interestingly, when I am asked to compile a list of the best of my personal Commonwealth Games’ recollections I have to skip back to the very first one I ever went to.
