Confession time: I’ve been in therapy. A while ago, an old workplace offered free sessions with a counsellor and, well, I do love a bargain. Plus, what a great excuse to talk about myself without having to pretend to be interested in someone else’s boring problems in return! To start with, I was gutted there wasn’t a black leather couch to lie on like in the movies, but as I started pouring out my heart – OK, I was just bitching about a colleague who was driving me mental – the stress seeped away.
