After four years away from the big screen, Sonic The Hedgehog was supposed to be Jim Carrey’s big Hollywood comeback. Instead, the comedy legend fears the film’s left him “cancelled”.
The Dumb And Dumber star, 58, is facing a career crisis after a sleazy joke to a female journalist fell on deaf ears during the Sonic promo tour. When asked what was on his bucket list, Jim replied, “Just you,” causing fans to brand him as “sexist”, a “sleazebag” and “totally unprofessional”.
Jim insists he was talking about the interview itself, not the interviewer, but the damage has been done.
