It's already been a long journey for the mum-of-five, who went through a fertility battle supported by her then boyfriend Carl Woods before their split at the end of 2023. Three rounds of IVF treatment were unsuccessful and Katie still dreams of a baby with her new partner, JJ Slater.
While her mission to add to her family continues, her past efforts and the emotional turmoil around having another child with Carl is set to play out on TV screens next year, in a bombshell documentary called Katie Price: Making Babies, Channel 4 has confirmed.
The raw and heartbreaking nature of the fly-on-the-wall doc, which is thought to hit screens in March, is sure to resurrect some painful emotions for Katie and Carl. Katie has admitted she "can't" watch it back, and the experience is said to be so traumatic for Carl, we're told he's not happy about the screening going ahead and is "trying to stop" it.
mer arl "Carl doesn't want it aired - it was filmed when the pair were a couple trying for a baby," the source claimed. "It would bring back hurtful memories for him and it would open up a can of worms and demons he's worked hard to get rid of. He's closed that chapter with Katie."
Back when former reality star Carl and Katie were happy together, he couldn't wait to tell the public he wanted to start a family with his then fiancée.
"I would love children of my own," he said in 2021 on Good Morning Britain. "Before this, I swore blind I would never date a girl with kids and I jumped in with five."
However, since their bitter break-up, his tune has changed and in an interview last week, he said of his ex, "I don't think she cares who she has a baby with, as long as she gets a baby. In that situation, it's not about who - it doesn't matter."
The programme is set to be an emotional watch, with a source saying the documentary will see Katie "face lots of obstacles and ups and downs along the way".
"The show will shine a light on the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their forties," the source added.
Another source previously said, "Katie is determined to show the raw and real side of IVF, and how it has been a deeply personal struggle for her."
Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 22, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, from her marriage to Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and 10-year-old Bunny from her marriage to Kieran Hayler, recently spoke about her journey and continued desire to add to her family on Olivia Attwood's podcast, So...
