We had our embryos frozen before we got married'
Jess Wright is in great form and looking very glamorous when new catches up with her ahead of a night out at the theatre in London's West End. The reality star and sister of presenter Mark Wright appeared on TOWIE from 2010 to 2016. She tells us she would love to be up on stage herself, and opens up about the joys and the struggles of being a mum to her mischievous but adorable son, Presley.
Back in August, Jess took to Instagram to share an emotional post revealing that her little boy has "a congenital heart disease called 'Bicuspid Aortic Valve"".
She added, "I won't go into the full details right now, but while this is, please God, not a fatal disease, we are coming to terms with the fact that our son will need intervention at least twice in his life." The TV personality, who turned 39 last month, also reveals whether she might add to her family with her businessman husband of three years, William Lee-Kemp, who she married in a stunning ceremony on the island of Mallorca in 2021.
Having gone to stage school herself, Jess, who previously dated former Strictly Come Dancing pro-Giovanni Pernice, also talks about treading the boards and why taking part in the hit BBC dance show like her brother Mark did in 2014 - would literally be "a dream come true" for her.
Hi, Jess! How are you - and how is your son, Presley?
I'm great, thanks! Oh, he's two now, and he's such a handful, let me tell you! He's hilarious, funny, crazy and lively. He's a typical little boy, really. He's completely adorable and I'm utterly obsessed with him.

Are you hoping to have more children some day?
You know what? I honestly don't know. I get asked that every day, and I don't know. At the minute, I can say I'm happy as we are.
Family life can be hard though -you have to give up so much when you become a mum...
Yes, absolutely, that’s true. It’s a full-time job, whatever way you look at it, but obviously, we still need to work, too! You have to juggle everything, and that can be tough at times. Ultimately, I always wanted to have a family, and Presley is my world now, so you just have to take the rough with the smooth. I always remember, when things do get tricky, that I’ve got my little baby boy – he’s naughty, but he’s such an absolute cutie.
Your mum, Carol, must love being a grandmother…
Oh, she does! And she is totally obsessed with her grandchildren – and I mean obsessed! She’s got three grandkids now – all boys. I think we’re all hoping for a girl to spoil at some point!
Your mum had your sister Natalya at 40. Does...
