Taylor Swift fans were sent into a frenzy last week as rumours began circulating that she’s dating The 1975 frontman – and Denise Welch’s son – Matty Healy, with the pair said to be “madly in love”.
And Matty’s dad, Benidorm actor Tim Healy, did nothing to dispel the rumours last Friday when he responded to a fan’s tweet that read, “The thought of Denise Welch and Tim Healy being in-laws to Taylor Swift is very, very funny” with the simple reply, “Why?”

The whispers began after a source revealed the singers are in the “early days” of dating. They explained the pair are exchanging lots of FaceTime calls and texts as both are currently on tour, but they are getting on very well and are “madly in love”.
In January – before they got together – Taylor, 33, made a surprise appearance on stage at London’s O2 on the first night of The 1975's sell-out At Their Very Best tour. She performed two tracks, The City and Anti-Hero, and Matty referred to her as "the Queen".
Taylor was then pictured backstage with Loose Women star Denise, who shared the picture on Instagram and wrote, "Oh what a night at a sold out 02," adding, "So proud I can't even begin!!" The 64-year-old included Taylor's appearance on stage on her Insta story, captioning it, "When Taylor popped in for a cuppa."
Details of Taylor's split from her British actor boyfriend Joe Alwyn were leaked on April 8 - Matty's 34th birthday - which fans believed was Taylor's "gift" to her new boyfriend.
