The former TOWIE star, who is set to welcome a baby girl with boyfriend Charles Drury next month, knew something felt wrong with her joints, so she went to see her doctor who diagnosed the 34-year-old with pelvic girdle pain (PGP) last week.
“She’s in intense pain in her lower back and thighs,” a source told us. “It’s meant that she’s been unable to walk.

“She was back working in her salon doing fillers but she had to stop and start her maternity leave as she was in too much pain. Frustratingly, if she sits or lays down for too long, the pain gets worse. So she has to find a way to move her muscles a bit. It’s been really tough for her. She loves to tidy her house and has so many things she wants to do in the run-up to the birth. But she knows the most important thing is staying healthy and calm.”
The source added that Lauren has also been suffering with a spike of hormones, which has led to a string of emotional outbursts. “The hormones have been intense for Lauren recently, which hasn’t helped. She’ll find herself getting really emotional over small things.

She knows it’s only natural but it’s made her more emotional about her PGP diagnosis, as well.”
The star has been open about her anxiety throughout her pregnancy, revealing early on that she had been hospitalised after suffering a terrifying panic attack. But the star has turned to crystal healing to help ease her anxiety and has been taking hypnobirthing classes, as well as working with a doula as she looks ahead to her home birth.
