Now, a source close to the 44-year-old former glamour model has told new that Katie feels she has been given a “lifeline” and is determined to marry fiancé Carl Woods, 33, as soon as possible – even if it means going ahead with the wedding without her family present.

“Katie and Carl are seriously thinking about Thailand for their wedding and she’s been trying on dresses while they’re on holiday there,” reveals our source. “Carl previously wanted to marry her in Saint Lucia, so it isn’t surprising that they’re thinking about a wedding abroad.
