Former TOWIE star Amy Childs has spoken openly about her surgery regrets and now the mum of two has admitted she’d be “devastated” if her daughter Polly, three, wanted to follow in her footsteps.
Chatting to fellow TOWIE star Bobby Norris on his Get Gobby With Bobby Instagram interview series, Amy spoke candidly about her past surgery obsession. “I was so addicted to having my lips done that sometimes I was having them done three times in three or four months,” she explained.
She added, “I wanted to look perfect all the time. I always wanted to change myself and I look back now and think I didn’t need to change myself at all.”
The 30-year-old said the turning point came when her mum dished out some tough home truths.
“Mum said to me, ‘Ame, you look like a freak.’ And I thought I’ve got to sort myself out,” she admitted. “I look at Polly now and I think if she ever came to me and said, ‘I want it’, I’d be devastated after what I’ve been through.”
