The much-loved broadcaster had her life turned upside down over Christmas 2022 when she discovered that her fiancé of 16 years, Phats & Small singer Ben Ofoedu, had been unfaithful.
Now, speaking to us about what this year's festive period might bring, Vanessa, 62, reveals there's just one gift she's hoping for at Christmas.
"I'd like my Prince Charming to be under the tree, really," she tells us, with a very obvious glint in her eye.

The Celebs Go Dating star has been typically candid about her heartache since she and 52-year-old Ben split - saying she felt "sad, disappointed and shocked" about the grim cheating revelation.
In a recent interview in new, Vanessa revealed that she hasn't seen Ben since the night he confessed to messaging other women - the same night she changed the locks on the £3.5m London home they once shared.
But it will take more than a public cheating scandal to keep Vanessa down, and she says she's determined to get into the festive spirit and make the most of what Christmas should really be about her family.
Vanessa's daughters - Allegra, 38, and Saskia, 35, from her marriage to orthopaedic surgeon Michael Kurer have reportedly been a rock for their mum since she became single again.

The This Morning regular is also devoted "Grandma Vanessa" to her four adorable young grandchildren.
"This year, we will be in Ireland for Christmas with all the family we all have matching Christmas pyjamas, presents, turkey, the lot!" she says, chatting to us at the Winter Wonderland press night in London. "I'm really looking forward to some family time - all of us together." In a recent segment on her YouTube channel, Vanessa dropped more than hint about what catches her eye when it comes to the opposite sex.
Her discussion came after current I'm A Celeb contestant Tulisa Contostavlos shared with her campmates that she was demisexual, which means she doesn't experience primary sexual attraction.
