Now a source tells us that after Chantelle saw the posts, she vowed not to give in to the haters – and to actually strip off more often to prove it.

“She’s a sensitive girl but she’s also very strong-minded,” they said. “She told her friends and family, ‘Trolls can slam my body but I won’t stop wearing a bikini.’ And she’ll wear that bikini with even more pride now, and the trolls will be treated to more holiday pictures.
“Yes, it’s hurtful and, yes, she reads them, but her friends remind her that they’re strangers, sitting there bored, who wouldn’t say that to her face.”
Chantelle, who also looked amazing in these exclusive pictures of her in a zebra-print bikini, became a household name in 2006 when she was dropped into the Celebrity Big Brother house as a bubbly, blonde “fake celebrity” – and won. Our source says going from being a temp at a high-street bank to a housemate of the likes of Michael Barrymore, Jodie Marsh and her future husband Samuel Preston, gave Chantelle an abrupt introduction to the ugly world of trolling.

“She’s had trolls since her first day on screen, so she’s more than used to it now,” they claimed. “She’s not going to let the trolls win, ever, because if she’s anything, she’s a survivor. She’s done so well to get the weight off, she’s done it all really carefully, she hasn’t done anything crazy like some other celebrities seem to have done. She’s never let trolls have the final say and she’s not about to start now.”
Chantelle proved she’s made of strong stuff when she came out fighting after what she called the “vile comments”, posting a strongly worded statement on her Instagram page and making sure her bikini snap didn’t get forgotten by adding it to her grid rather than her disappearing Stories.
