Well, you don’t want to be told at 20 that you won’t be able to have any kids, or you can’t be like other people your age. So, obviously, it’s really upsetting. She’s pretty much the same age as me, so it is really sad. She’s not really had a very easy life, has she?
Is it putting a strain on her relationship with boyfriend Craig?
Yeah, definitely. It’s hard enough for her trying to figure things out for herself, without having to help somebody else. Also, with the menopause come mood swings. So, it probably doesn’t help that she’s nice one second and then horrible the next.
How does she feel when Craig speaks to Carla about not putting Faye under pressure at work?
She’s embarrassed about it, to be honest – even though she shouldn’t be. Faye doesn’t know how to deal with it yet, so she doesn’t want anyone to know. She feels like Craig’s gone behind her back. She just doesn’t want people to be acting differently towards her.
Later, Craig ends up moving out of the flat. What happens?
