The new romance comes after a difficult time last year, when TOWIE star Jordan discovered his mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer, just days after coming back from filming in the Dominican Republic. But now he tells us he couldn’t be in a better place in 2023, with his mum Sam being “on the mend”.
After announcing their relationship to the world last October, Sophie, 33, upped sticks from Newcastle to move down south to Essex to live with Jordan, 25. He was all smiles on the show as he introduced Sophie as his new girlfriend at Amber Turner and Dan Edgar’s housewarming party.
And while the pair have had plenty of support from their friends Charlotte Crosby and James ‘Lockie’ Lock, there have been a few hiccups along the way. After Chloe Brockett, who previously dated Jordan, shared a few of her thoughts about his new relationship, the star now exclusively breaks his silence on the drama…

Hi, Jordan! What can we expect from you in this series of TOWIE?
It’s a very different series for me. I was very single in the last series, a bit younger, and I was dating and having fun. Now, I’m in a settled relationship, and very happy. And my storyline last year heavily involved my mum not being well after her breast cancer diagnosis. I’m excited for everyone to see Mum’s next steps. In this series, you will see me growing up and moving on to the next stage of my life.
It’s great to see your romance with Sophie on screen…
A lot of TOWIE is often heavily involved in drama and I do my best to stay out of that. I am very much a person who likes to get along with people, and I like to see them happy. I’m not massively confrontational, so I like the fact that viewers can now see such a positive side to my relationship. Sophie is amazing. She’s no stranger to TV and she slotted right in with all the confidence in the world. I couldn’t have a better person by my side. We complement each other very well. She’s as positive and has high energy like me – we’re both a bit nuts [laughs]!

You’ve had so much support for your new relationship. How does that feel?
It’s quite overwhelming. Me and Sophie have both been known for being on our own for quite some time. People had been waiting for Sophie to meet someone for a long time too, and the fact I’m that person and it feels so right makes me happy. We just get on so well together. Gatsby [Liam Blackwell] actually set us up, and I like that it was someone in my circle. The majority of the cast have been my friends for a long time and they were all so over the moon for me when we turned up together. I was really happy to show Sophie off to everyone. A lot of them knew her anyway, but I couldn’t wait to walk in and introduce her as my girlfriend.
You’ve moved in together – how are things going?
It’s great. It all went smoothly and it feels like we’ve always been together. It’s so nice to have her in Essex! It’s obviously very different to Newcastle, but I’ve got a big group of friends that she already knows down here and she’s no stranger to them. My...
