The engines weren’t the only thing revving at Monaco’s recent Grand Prix – so was Princess Charlene’s pulse.
The 44-year-old royal was seen warmly embracing Patrick Dempsey, 56, at the event while her husband, Prince Albert, 64, watched on.
It was an encounter that had onlookers a little bit curious, given Charlene similarly greeted the Grey’s Anatomy star with a kiss at a 2019 racing event.
“People have noticed how she lights up whenever Patrick is around,” alleges an insider. “The connection they have is palpable – unlike the frosty interaction with her husband.”
It comes after the mum of two spent most of last year away from her family in South Africa while recovering from a severe ear, nose and throat infection. She then sought treatment for exhaustion in Switzerland.
