I don’t know about you, but there’s something about turning another year older that puts me in a nostalgic mood. And that feeling was amplified last week when my birthday coincided with the 30th anniversary of Bananas in Pyjamas! As the below photo attests, I was a HUGE fan of B1 and B2 as a child – not to mention teddy bears Amy, Lulu and Morgan. I had clothing with their faces on it, a giant floor puzzle, numerous books and even a doll! So it was quite exciting that New Idea got the chance to celebrate the milestone with actor Shane McNamara, who played the naughty Rat in a Hat (page 24). It was a lovely walk down memory lane.
