NavaRashtra is an Indian Marathi-language daily with a presence in 14 cities across the Indian states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chattisgarh. Owned by Ram Gopal Investments Pvt. Ltd. and published by the Navabharat Group, the Navabharat newspaper was founded by Ramgopal Maheshwari, a freedom fighter and journalist, in 1934 in the city of Nagpur in Maharashtra. Published with the intent of upholding value-based journalism and providing a platform for people of the region to voice their problems, the Navabharat newspaper has always strived for India’s development along with the reporting of fact-based news. In Maharashtra, Navabharat publishes 6 main editions (Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Chandrapur, Nasik and Amravati), and 3 additional editions (Yavatmal, Akola and Wardha).
