As residents of coastal zones, we know that impending threats of tropical storms and hurricanes are always possible. Simply stated, it’s a reality of Florida living. However, when a treacherous storm like Hurricane Ian strikes, even the most protected and most prepared can be left exposed and defenseless. While rebuilding and restoration efforts are well underway, there are many individuals in Collier County still suffering from the aftermath of Ian.
