For one Naples yoga instructor, child’s pose isn’t just for adults. After practicing yoga with her kids since they were in the womb, Elaina Vasta founded Mini Buddhas Kids Yoga in 2018. Yoga may reduce stress and anxiety in kids just as it does in adults, according to research published in the Journal of Integrative Medicine. Vasta adds that yoga can improve both well-being and happiness. “The mindful aspect of it is really key to being a happy human,” she explains. “We are teaching our children to live in the moment, not the score of a past game or practicing for the next recital, but the here and now.” With a fun-first approach to her classes, Vasta notes, “I’m not sure they even realize they’re doing yoga; instead, they’re enjoying…
