Born and raised in Naples, Nina Van Arsdale graduated from Naples High School in 1996 and left home to study fine art at Flagler College in St. Augustine. After earning her degree, Van Arsdale moved to New York City to work for Cynthia Rowley, an American fashion designer who created the quirky yet fun eponymous global lifestyle brand. After working in New York for a short while and following a visit to Los Angeles, Van Arsdale decided she wanted to move to the West Coast; an opportunity to run the Cynthia Rowley store in L.A. made for an easy transition.
