I’ve been reviewing wine professionally since 1992 and have tasted many thousands of wines in the process. A select few are just as vivid in my memory today as the day I tried them. While it’s difficult to generalize about the qualities that make wines unforgettable, the greatest among them are all benchmarks of their type that leave you breathless.
