Fissures dans sa coalition

Les difficultés pour Sonko ne se sont pas arrêtées là. Suite à la décision judiciaire de lundi, le gouvernement a rapidement agi en annonçant la dissolution de son parti, Pastef. Les autorités ont justifié cette décision en accusant Pastef d'inciter régulièrement à l'insurrection, ayant causé d'importantes perturbations, notamment des pertes tragiques en vies humaines, comme l'indique un communiqué diffusé sur les réseaux sociaux. La récente condamnation de Sonko en juin a conduit à des émeutes sévères, les plus importantes observées depuis des années au Sénégal, faisant 16 morts selon le gouvernement, tandis que l'opposition parle d'une trentaine de décès.
