El Vaticano: ruta de escape de los criminales nazis

El 10 de mayo de 1946, agentes del CIC, la contrainteligencia militar de EE. UU. destacada en Italia, alertan a sus mandos en Washington de la existencia de una red en el interior del Vaticano para ayudar a escapar a criminales de guerra nazis hacia Sudamérica. El agente cita en el documento como enlace del dictador pronazi Ante Pavelic a monseñor Giovanni Battista Montini, quien en junio de 1963 se convertiría en el papa Pablo VI (en la imagen). “Roma, 10 de mayo de 1946.
