The two were as meant for each other as Woody and Diane. At first sight, it was Meaningful Relationship. Politics, you are thinking, should have nothing to do with the acceptability of an automobile. True, unless the car is a Saab. No one has found out why, but a survey taken after the 1972 presidential election revealed that 90% of the Saab owners in Massachussetts voted for George McGovern, helping him sweep to victory in one of the two states he carried.
