Whew, it’s been a whirlwind, but we made it. Two U-Hauls and our pick-up truck with a trailer ventured across the country with 95 per cent of our “stuff.” You soon realize in a packing-up-and-move situation that a person accumulates far too many things, but unless you take purging very seriously and don’t just talk about it, it’s surprising how much there is to move, and it can be quite stressful in the end. It takes time to purge and time snuck up on me to the point that everything that was left got thrown in or was simply donated. We returned to Ontario recently to clean up a few details, after which time Gwen flew back to Kelowna while I stayed to pack up a few items we left…
