Du sport en 1985 et la poisse, Jacky Vimond rate une nouvelle fois et de peu le titre mondial 250. Le grand Kini s’offre sa deuxième couronne, heureusement Thierry Michaud apporte un rayon de soleil en remportant le championnat du monde trial. C’est la rentrée, en 1995 nous avons droit à un gros tour d’horizon des nouveautés attendues au salon de Paris. Présentations statiques, essais (KX 1996, 400 XR…), Moto Verte fait le point sur ces nouveaux « objets de convoitise. »

Octobre 1985 Vimond rate le coche Heinz Kinigadner empoche son deuxième titre mondial, on retrouve le géant autrichien en couverture. Après un début de saison en fanfare, on s’attendait à ce que Jacky Vimond soit le premier Français à être sacré, c’est raté et la déception est énorme. Le cross mondial vient de s’achever, en 125, le jeune Kevin Strijbos aura tout tenté pour décrocher la victoire mais c’est finalement Pekka Vehkonen qui sera titré. André Malherbe aurait aimé s’offrir un quatrième titre, c’était sans compter sur son jeune coéquipier David Thorpe qui coiffe sa première couronne mondiale.
