It’s a very old-fashioned term for a very current problem – but what exactly is colic? While for years it’s been dismissed as a baby being ‘fussy’, colic is now defined as frequent, excessive bouts of crying in an otherwise healthy baby. ‘He adores the attention’ Watching my little boy on stage, babbling excitedly into the microphone, I beamed with pride. Broaden your little one’s horizons with this mountain-range mural – it’s so easy to create. To begin, give the wall a base paint of pale grey. Once completely dry, use masking tape to add one or two giant triangles from the base of the wall to two-thirds of the way up. Paint the triangles white. Leave to dry, then mask off a zigzag across the top of each triangle and paint the space beneath dark grey. Allow to dry completely before carefully peeling away the masking tape.
