MATERIALS Green shaggy rug, sized 80 x 150cm (we used Benuta’s Soho Green and Soho Cream rugs, (www.benuta.co.uk) Cream shaggy rug, sized 80 x 150cm Duct tape Stanley knife or heavy duty scissors Large ruler Carpet adhesive/glue Glue spreader or spatula Drop cloth slightly larger than your final rug (or felt fabric or anti-slip cloth) Glue gun (or super glue) Large marker or felt pen Sheet larger than your final rug Finished size: 100 x 170cm 1 Cutting guide – following the instructions from step 2 onwards, you will need to cut out the following harlequin diamond shapes: • 12 green diamonds (height 42.5cm x width 30cm) • 6 cream diamonds (42.5 x 30cm) • 6 half diamonds, halved vertically (42½ x 15cm) • 4 half diamonds, halved horizontally (21¼ x 15cm) • 4 quarters of…
