MATERIALS • Jumper with ribbing effect at the hem and cuffs• Matching thread• Sewing machine• Fabric scissors• Tissue paper• Measuring tape ONE Fold the jumper in half and cut a curve starting at the arm, crossing just above the armhole seam and to the centre of the jumper. The centre of the jumper should be at a level of approximately 5cm below the level of the armhole seam. Cut the bottom of the jumper and the cuffs off approximately 2.5cm above the start of the ribbing. TWO Cut the ribbing on the bottom of the jumper and the cuffs off. THREE Join the ribbing pieces together to form a loop – long section, then short section, then long section, then short section. Sew each seam right sides (RS) together using a zigzag stitch or…
