TRANSFORM A MAGNOLIA RENTAL WALL INTO A STYLISH FOCAL FEATURE USING ONLY MASKING TAPE AND PAINT

MATERIALS Masking tape Matt emulsion paint (we used Inchyra Blue by Farrow & Ball) Laser level (optional) Paint brush or dishwashing sponge To detach the tape, use a hairdryer, as it softens the glue for a damage-free removal 1 Apply long strips of masking tape to the wall in evenly spaced vertical stripes, 3 inches wide and spaced 3 inches apart. To get perfectly even stripes, use a laser level, or use a 3-inch piece of tape in between each stripe, then simply peel this small strip off. 2 Cut a 2-inch dish-washing sponge and dip it into the paint, making sure to remove the excess.
