MATERIALS ■ Wooden crate ■ Sandpaper ■ Screwdriver ■ Drill ■ 4 wall plugs ■ 4 long screws ■ Pencil ■ Level tool 1 Make sure your boxes are sturdy, and any rough edges lightly sanded down so that you don’t damage anything you store on the shelves. You might want to seal the wood to protect it, depending on use. 2 Measure the area of wall where you’re planning on hanging your crates. It should be a solid wall that will take the weight – or secure the crate into a stud. 3 Pre-drill holes in the base of the crate.
