Harald Grosskopf Synthesist SKY, 1980 DRUMMER HARALD Grosskopf had an eventful 1970s in West Germany’s Kosmische milieu. A member of prog rockers Wallenstein, in 1973 he took part in Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser’s notorious Cosmic Jokers sessions in Cologne. The same year he drummed on Walter Wegmüller’s Tarot and with Manuel Göttsching’s Ash Ra Tempel; later in the decade, he played on Klaus Schulze’s solo LPs. Grosskopf was born in Hildesheim outside Hanover in 1949, and attended kindergarten with Rudolf Schenker of The Scorpions.
