The lovable sprite of the Pixies, The Breeders and The Amps, it’s taken KIM DEAL nearly 40 years of music making – plus rehab, bereavement and lockdown – to deliver a solo album. Now she’s touring it. What kept her? “It takes me a long time to like a song,” she tells GRAYSON HAVER CURRIN.
