Finally Leufortin 1 is up on own legs (photo 22). The fly cranks quartered well and were just temporarily grub-screwed (for any adjustment). This was based on the view that this was the slowest part of the transmission and would last long enough to check the running before the final strip down ready to paint. The same judgment was made for plain axle box bearings in brass, well lubricated.
