THE RECENT TREND IN ONLINE MEETINGS offers a new perspective on what school, community, and professional environments can look like. For some, including Harry Herzberg, online education worked better than traditional classroom settings. As a student with ADHD, Harry found learning at his own pace allowed him to succeed in his courses. He went on to make the Dean’s List. Harry later assembled a team and created Transcribbit — an application which brings the flexibility of online learning into brick-and-mortar classes. Speakers and listeners run the application on their phones or computers. The lecture is transcribed in real time and the presenter can tap the screen to gently alert the listener to focus.
