This month’s tutorial shows how I rebuilt a simple Halloween decoration and painted it for use on the wargame table. The basic MDF kit was bought from Hobbycraft (a UK based arts and craft store) for just £4.00 back in August and I had hoped to get it completed in time for the October issue but this was not to be. I started putting the kit together as per the instructions but felt that it was rather too simple and lacked any real character. I therefore started to remodel the flat panels with insulation foam and DAS modelling clay, but even this was not satisfying me.
