I reviewed this rule set in the last issue and asked the author to write me some background material as an introduction and supply a scenario and Stephen did just that! Ed. INTRODUCTION I would expect that most gamers are familiar with hexes. Years ago, I played an Avalon Hill board game called Panzer Leader, which used card counters on a hex board, and more recently there have been Memoir 44 and The Great War which have both used slightly larger hexes together with plastic figures. So, enjoying using hexes, I began to work out how to play on a wargames board marked out in that fashion.
