A Decorative Squash Hovel for Burrows & Badgers

This month’s tutorial was inspired by a post on the Burrows & Badgers Facebook page where a group member had posted images of a small resin fairy house or decorative gourd hovel and asked if any member had any information as to where similar buildings could be purchased. I took it as a challenge to see if I could scratch build a similar piece of themed terrain – a squash dwelling for this unique game. Following Christmas 2024, I found two festive decorations for sale in The Range (a large discount store in the UK) reduced to just 25p each. The glitter covered ornaments were a real bargain and just too good to miss out on. I decided to use the glittery apple as the base for this squash model.…
