As my Mini and my wife’s Mini have to be restored, we needed a replacement; with shelves full of parts and this shell we wanted to build something on a small budget. The shell was in good order and only small repairs had to be done. I welded patches on the floor, the boot, and restored the original seam line on the front wings; these had been cut away for 13” wheels. I primed and painted the shell in our garage in BMC Aqua.
