Keeping things simple is the key to Scandinavian décor says Erin François as we take a tour of her home at Christmas

The Danish concept of hygge is particularly pertinent during the winter months. For Erin François, author of DIY and styling blog François et Moi (www.francoisetmoi.com), the philosophy is a big part of how she approaches the holidays – bringing the outdoors in, creating a cosy environment and simplifying her home as a whole.
