ESPECIALISTA EN MARQUETERÍA PARA LOUIS ERARD

Después de completar su aprendizaje como ebanista, Bastien Chevalier perfeccionó sus habilidades en marquetería bajo la guía del ex ganador del prestigioso concurso del mejor artesano de Francia, Jérome Boutteçon. Éste enseñó a Bastien el arte de la marquetería durante casi seis años junto con el ebanista Philippe Monti, en Sainte-Croix, Suiza. Tras especializarse, entre otras cosas, en cajas de cigarros para Davidoff & Cie. o cajas de música Reuge, en el año 2003, Bastien tomó la decisión de crear su taller de marquetería artística y produjo varias piezas y encargos para clientes como el fabricante de autómatas François Junod o el relojero Vianney Halter, además de repetir para Reuge.
