A dealer once told me that we motorcyclists are in a constant state of choosing when it comes to bikes. We might have a bike or two (or more) in the garage, but there’s always another one that we’d quite fancy owning, if space and/or finances allowed. He told me this as I was walking around his showroom, ooh-ing and ahh-ing at various bits of stock while my credit card gently trembled inside my purse… According the DVLA, around 500,000 bikes change keeper every year, a number which reinforces the dealer’s wisdom perfectly. Luckily, the used market is chock full of choice, from nearly-new machines with big savings off their brand new RRPs, to five-year-old models which still pack modern technology and looks but at an altogether more affordable price.…
