Beastly new BMW S1000R is smoother, safer, cleverer and quicker than ever

FIRST RIDE BMW have updated their S1000R for 2025. The supremely popular super-naked was conceived in 2014 when the German firm ripped the fairing off their S1000RR superbike and fitted it with straight bars. Such was the dominance of the RR, it was a big deal back then. It has been tweaked over the years since, before it got its first major overhaul in 2021 with the chassis, electronics and retuned engine from the latest-generation S1000RR.
