‘On the road to great savings’ I used to think it was only Ducati who attempted to conjure more cash from their customers with endless ‘special editions’ but another Italian company has just released a bike that takes the biscotti. Step forward the Moto Guzzi Stelvio Duecento Tributo – a machine launched to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Stelvio Pass being opened to traffic. Really? Are Guzzi that desperate that the best they can come up with is a special edition based around a road being built? And, worse still, it is just a paintjob special – from what I can deduce, nothing else about the Duecento Tributo is different to a stock Stelvio PFF Rider Assistance Solution model aside from the ‘inspired by natural elements’ livery.
