When I think of Dakar, to me it's like looking into a snake pit and wanting to put your hand in. Something in your head is telling you to stick your hand in, even though you know you're going to get bitten! I guess you could say the same about the TT, but what's different is that you know the TT course. You know there's a bump at Barregarrow, you know what white lines could be damp, you know when the sun is going to be in your face. There's a lot of brain and muscle memory at the TT, but with the Dakar it's blind. There's also 600 marshals around the TT course and they are going to tell you if anything is different – you don't have any…
