£6500-£7500 (2011-2012) The first top-spec Daytona model is based around the old platform (underseat pipe) and adds Öhlins, Brembo, a quickshifter (up only) and a dash of carbon. Relatively short-lived, it has a feeling of being a bit special thanks to its eye-catching paint and smart components and does ride better than a stock model. It's worth the extra £1000-£1500 it will set you back over a basic 675. BUYER BEWARE • Look for an Fi warning light, the Daytona's exhaust valve (located where the three header pipes merge into one) seizes in position. • The reg/rec is a weak area.
