Varm, fyldig og dynamisk lyd. Høy grad av gjennomsiktighet, og potent bassgjengivelse. Enkel å montere. Passer ikke på alle armer. Mange kjenner denne som en DJ-pickup, og det er slett ikke feil. Ortofon Concordee har tjenestegjort på Technics DJ-spillere i SL-1210-serien i flere tiår, og vært med på å trekke millioner av folk til dansegulvet. Opp med hånden alle som er skråsikker på at de aldri har svingt hoftene til en Ortofon Concorde DJ-pickup. Ortofon laget en kort periode hi-fi versjoner i Concorde støpning, som ikke var ment for scratching. Litt mindre grovbygget rent teknisk, og forfinet for en bedre lydopplevelse. Nå har de gjort det igjen, og talende nok kalles det nye serien Concorde Music. Teknisk sett er de basert på Ortofons aldeles utmerkede 2M-serie. Som er moving magnet…
